To gain the CFAB qualification, you need to pass the following six modules which are the same six modules as the first level (Certificate Level) of ICAEW’s world-leading business and finance qualification, the ACA.
CFAB Modules |
---|
Accounting (ACC) |
Assurance (ASS) |
Management Information (MI) |
Business and Finance (B&F) |
Principles of Taxation (POT) |
Law (LAW) |
You can complete them in any order and at a speed that suits you, so you can easily fit studying around your work and personal commitments. You don’t need to complete any modules for which you have received credit for prior learning/exemptions. It should be clarified that Accounting is compulsory.
Each computer-based assessment lasts one and a half hours. There are 40 questions for the Accounting and Management Information modules, and 50 questions for the other four modules. You can attempt them at any time of the year at Cyprus College e-assessment center.
