The SPS new ACCA courses will be commencing in January 2016.

The School of Professional Studies (SPS) of Cyprus College announces the commencement of its new ACCA courses, leading to the March 2016 and June 2016 exams.

The SPS will be offering revision classes leading to the March 2016 examination sitting, in addition to its evening courses that are commencing on 11 January 2016 and its Block Release Courses commencing on 5 February 2016.

Our revision courses have been specifically designed to help students who have recently failed a paper, to retake it in March 2016.

Our evening / part-time courses are usually taught on a weekly basis (1-2 times per week) between 6:15pm and 9:15pm. Occasionally, there might be a Saturday class, and this will be held between 9am and 2pm or between 9am and 3pm (specific details for each course are provided on the timetables).

As far as our block-release courses are concerned, they are taught in four phases:

  • 3 teaching phases (usually a Friday and a Saturday): 2 days x 6 hours (some ACCA courses do require additional teaching days)
  •  1 revision phase (spread over 3 separate weeks thus allowing students adequate time to revise the material): 1 day/week x 6 hours x 3 weeks (some ACCA courses offer a 4-day revision).

The teaching phases are held every three weeks, so the visits at the college are not as often as the ones for the part-time courses.
